onsdag.

wow. its actually snowing. not a lot. its almost rain. but still.
(the pictures above are not from today)

i haven't been writing for a while. have been pretty happy with just living.

im sitting in my dads apple store right now. soon going to my youthpastors house to have lunch. we are going to discuss the summer. im working as a youth pastor this summer for 8 weeks. really excited.

i think the thing i have put most of my time towards since i got home is cleaning.

several bags of clothes and stuff to second hand. and even more bags of papers and stuff to burn.

it feels like cleaning your inner person.

out with the old, in with the new.

its weird being home. almost like traveling back in time. maybe thats why i feel the urge to clean so strongly.

its been nice though. hanging out with my brothers and family.

today my cousins are coming to visit. i LOVE my cousins.

we are going to gothenburg tomorrow to a concert. my younger brothers birthday present.

my older brother is there today to meet with the band manager for Kadawatha.

they are going on u.s tour with paramore this summer for two months!

i have done lots of things since i got home.

i have hung out with C.S Lewis and Sigur Ros at my favourite café.

i have had plenty of fikas with ida, mom and grandpa ernst.

i have been to youth and café Kaj.

i have been to our sunday service. great message on friendship which made me think of my awesome friends. many still in sydney.

freddy has become a skype figurine. i like the real one better.

home in sweden

tisdag.
i am now home. sitting in the livingroom with my brothers and my dad.
everyone came to meet me at the airport in gothenburg.
felt so wierd to come home. everything feels smaller.
it doesn't even feel like home yet. but it will.
i was completely surprised with my room. there was so much stuff in there. i thought i had all the stuff i needed in my bags. now i need to clean out my entire room before i can even unpack.
missing freddy. of course. it was hard to say goodbye at the birmingham airport.
the flight went great. lots of wierd funny stories.
for one i had to leave my stuffed animal behind. it only weighed half a pound. but appearently it was overweight. so little lambi stayed with freddy.
after having dinner with the family i went upstairs to clean and stuff. andreas called me downstairs and like 10 of my close friends were all standing in the living room.
"surprise!"
it was so much fun to see everyone again.
i am way too tired to write so im gonna make it short.

Day 39

söndag.
today was my last day here.
it was a beautiful day and the sun was out.
we had lunch at La Parilla. amazing mexican restaurant.
my last sweet tea.
then we lookes around at best buy and walmart a bit.
we went home around three and here's where my favourite part of the day started.
i got into my bikini to lay out in the sun and freddy got on the four wheeler in his shorts.
he rode around in the horse field and jumped over little hills. it looked like a lot of fun so i wanted to join him.
when we got off he took the garden hose and sprayed me.
then we went on the fourwheeler again and went around the land to find some mudpools. we found some and went mudding for a while. a lot of fun!
then we got off at the creek (still on the land) and went for a walk around.
on the way home we got stuck and i had to get off in the mudd! after pushing and trying for a bit we got out and went home.
freddy said he would give me a redneck test. the test was that i had to clean the fourwheeler with the hose.
i passed.
in the evening we had familydinner with everyone here to celebrate mallories birthday.
now im going to bed for the last time here for a long time.
its very sad. im going to miss it so much. it feels like home.
there will be many tears tomorrow when i say goodbye to my fiance.
we are leaving early to birmingham to spend the day there and then ill fly out in the afternoon.
next time youll hear from me ill be in sweden.

Day 38

back in alabama!
it feels like coming home.
we got back last night after a 7h drive.
we went for dinner with the parents in ozark.
today me, freddy and kelly went to a fleemarket. i could not believe my eyes.
there were guns lying on the tables with bullets next to them. puppies in cages. tools everywhere. boiled peanuts every once in a while. andeverything laid up on tables on a dirt road in the shining sun. we were there for two hours and didnt even see half of everything.
after the fleemarket we went to mallorie (freddys sis) and michaels (her fiances) new home. they were painting. everyones favourite ella was also there and i had the privilege of taking a few photos with this gorgeous girl.
it has been a wonderful day.
im getting ready to go home to sweden. trying to pack everything again into the two suitcases that i came with.

Day 8 Florida

torsdag.
Just got home from Copeland live in tampa.
they were great. homeshow for them, so it was fun.
however, my lighting eye was thirsting for more than just parcans. but oh well. parcans had to do.
today has been pretty quiet otherwise.
i have had stupid allergies with red shot eyes all day.
tomorrow we will leave to go back to alabama. and in many ways it feels like coming home.
and on monday i will leave to go home to sweden. im very excited about that.
lakeland and clearwater has had its fun moments. but i cant wait to get back to echo for my last weekend.
and then frebecka will be freddy and rebecka for a few months, until his visa gets sorted.

Day 7 Florida

onsdag.
pictures with moments captured will fill these pages very soon.
but i forgot my stick for the card.
clearwater, florida is where we have been for the past few days.
parasailing. dolphins. fresh seafood. sun. spring break.
we have had a great relaxing time.
many funny stories. many jokes.
im just really tired right now.
had applebees tonight. it was great.
we are right now in lakeland, florida.
just came back from the downtown. its a very nice city.
have been hanging out with cousins joe and jedi tonight.
i have the song little secrets by passion pit stuck in my head.
i love the intro. i kept playing it over again. its just amazing.
anyway.

Day 1 Florida

lördag.
i woke up in a different state.
the sheets were purple and i was on a very comfortable couch.
i was at mimi and papa faulkners house in lakeland, florida.
mimi made us, me and freddy, potatoes and ham for breakfeast. there was also poptarts involved, but not on my plate.
we hung around the house for a bit and got picked up by josh davies, freddys cousin.
we went to guitar center and i looked at an interface.
nothing too exciting going on here.
might just stop writing.
